The population was also in thousands, but then suddenly people left from here and now it has become a ghost town USA. There is silence on the streets. According to Daily Star News website, there is a small village named Bodie in California (California Ghost Town), America. It started as a camp in 1859 because gold was found in the eastern region of the Sierra Nevada mountains. This place became even more famous in 1876 when a huge amount of gold was found here. By 1879, this village had become as big as a town as its population had increased from 5 thousand to 7 thousand.

There is a haunted village in America
According to Visit Mammoth, many miners used to come here because of the gold mine. But at the same time the terror of goons, scoundrels and mafia also started spreading here. When the mine started running out of gold, gradually people also started leaving from here. The village also became vacant due to the miners’ strike. By 1910 the number of townspeople dropped to less than 700 and by 1915 the village was declared haunted. Till 1940, a few people used to live there but in 1962 it was declared a state park.
people go here to roam
Now people go here to visit, take pictures and see how life used to be here 150 years ago. Even today there are about 200 houses made of wood which are lying vacant. There is a fee of Rs 600 to go here and a large number of people come here. The designs of the houses are quite old and anyone can get scared after seeing this place.
